Beautiful Traditional Cotswold Inn, Amberley village
Positioned in the peaceful Cotswold village of Amberley, the National Trust owned Minchinhampton Common provides the hilltop backdrop and enviable views across the spectacular Cotswolds countryside.
Built in 1855, the historic inn retains all it's charm and atmosphere, with original oak panelled rooms and parquet flooring, stone mullioned windows and roaring log fires. The Amberley Inn is the perfect location for a year round break, whether for a romantic break, walking holiday or business trip.
All our 13 rooms are light and airy with modern ensuite bathrooms, Egyptian cotton bed linen and other homely features. Each room has it's own individual style, many having fine views across the valley or the gardens. Rooms with Four poster or other feature beds are also available.
Good food is at the heart of what we do, consistently high quality meals made with care, and the finest local ingredients. Enjoy one of our local real ales all brewed within a three-mile radius or the local fine wines.
All this combined make The Amberley Inn one of the most distinctive inns in the Cotswolds. Located within easy access of the M4 and M5, 3 miles from Stroud Railway station.
