Holidays are the perfect chance to relax, unwind and have some fun and there’s no need to leave anyone behind. If you’re thinking of visiting the Cotswolds come and stay at our dog friendly hotel just on the edge of Stroud, surrounded by scenic views and country villages.

The Cotswolds is one of the best places in the UK to holiday with your dog. Between roaming the fields, swimming in the lakes and exploring the quaint villages, you and your dog won’t be short of things to do. Dogs are a part of the furniture here in the Cotswolds and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a place that doesn’t allow them in. Once you’ve settled on the location, make your trip just that bit better by staying at our dog friendly hotel.

Things to do with your dog

There are plenty of things to do in the Cotswolds with your dog and they are welcome in most attractions. The closest local attraction to our hotel is Woodchester Park. Just 4 miles down the road, you will find this doggy haven of woodland, lakes and plenty of open space. There are 3 routed walks ranging from 2 to 7 miles long, so bring your walking boots and explore away!

The area directly surrounding our dog friendly hotel is an attraction in itself. We’re surrounded by Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons. Stroud is just on the other side and they make an ideal location for the daily walk.

Eating with your dog in the Cotswolds

Your dog is welcome in all parts of the hotel, except the dining room but you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in our bar area. All our meals are made from fresh local produce – see a sample menu here.

If you want to go elsewhere to eat you will more than likely be able to take your dog with you, but it’s always worth calling ahead to check if they’re dog friendly.

We do our best to make you and your dog feel at home in our hotel but it’s always a good idea to bring some home comforts with you anyway. Bringing their bed, bowls and food will help prevent any anxiety from staying somewhere new. We charge a one off £10 fee for pets per stay.

Reservations for our dog friendly hotel in the Cotswolds must be made in advance as we keep some of our rooms allergy free. Contact us today to book your stay.
